Explain a little about your area of expertise and what you do at Economit
I provide information security, business continuity, quality and environment ISO standards consultancy as well as data protection knowledge and support. I also provide training in all these areas, including undertaking Business Continuity Desktop Exercises with our clients. In addition to this I am the companies Operations and HR Manager.
What attracted you to this type of role and how long have you worked in this area?
I've been involved in risk and compliance areas throughout my working life, specialising in compliance and information security after my move to Derbyshire in 2013. Since then I’ve focused on ISO standards, risk and compliance in multiple industry sectors.
My favourite bit of my job is..
The variety of the work and being able to explain and help companies understand and implement what’s needed to be compliant with regulations and standards in our industry.
In my spare time, you'll find me...
Cooking international dishes, especially Japanese dishes for my friends and family and enjoying walks in the countryside.
